A Few Small Hops for Molly J

Upon returning from a few hours away, I turned the key, unlocked, and opened the door. What I saw there made me so happy. It wasn’t just one waggily pup, but two! Instead of welcoming me home from her comfy bed on the living room floor, Molly J joined her pup sister Cece at the door. It was just a few small hops for Molly J, but one giant leap for recovery!

But it didn’t stop there, oh no! After breakfast this morning, Molly J was feeling so good that she put her foot on her rope, which had been untouched for a couple of weeks. She turned her face toward me and made her request for me to play with her. We tugged. We spun. We fetched. We wagged. We only played for a few minutes, so she wouldn’t overdo it. But, how wonderful it was to see a glimpse of the playful, energetic Wonderpup I knew was still in there!

Molly j had her rear leg amputated after a mean tumor returned. She's a 12 year old who's as playful as she was when she was a young pup.
